I have a 1997 Cavalier that doesn't have any instrament panel lights when the key is turned to run. The starter doesn't crank either. I checked all fuses. Is the lack of idiot lights a symptom of the Passlock failure?

If you suspect a single bad injector, the only way to tell is to disconnect the ignition wires and try to start the engine. Then pull the plugs and see which ones are wet.

You can send it in to an ECM rebuilder and pay them to test it. Otherwise, there's no way to test all the functions.

I would suspect you have a problem between the sensor/transmitter and the passkey control.
