Climate Control Inoperative, blower motor runs in low speed—1998 Infinity

0

Delphi, the manufacturer of the automatic temperature control system in the 1998 Infinity has released a technical service bulletin that addresses a problem with the automatic climate control (ATC) system. After a jump start, the ATC display shows a spinning circle, but the controller does not respond to any driver inputs. The blower motor runs constantly in low speed whenever the ignition key is in the ON position. The fix for this problem is simple.climate control, Lexus, blower runs constantly

Disconnect both battery cables and touch them together. This will drain the capacitors in the ATC module and clear the “lock-up” caused by the jump start. Reconnect the cables and start the vehicle. The problem should be gone. You will have to reprogram your radio stations.
