I have a 2002 Chrysler minivan. My check engine light comes on and at times the fuel gauge drops to empty. My mechanic says I've been filling the tank too full, but this has just started a month or so ago. I've had the van since 2002. The code says large evaparator leak. I put on a new fuel cap but it didn't help. Do you think it is the 5/8 hose between the canisters?
